Cultural Hero AwardRecognizing those who make the world a better place
This award is given to an individual who has exhibited personal courage in witnessing to the sanctity of life and/or the dignity of the human person in the broader culture. The individual must be pro-life, and may be either living or recently deceased. Preference is given to ordinary persons who do extraordinary things.
The winner of this award (or his representative, if awarded posthumously) is invited to our annual Gala to receive the award, presented by a member of the Board of Directors.

Healing the Culture Treasurer and Board Member, Gellert Dornay, presented the 2020 Cultural Hero Award to Catherine Short, the VP of Legal Affairs at Life Legal Defense Foundation at the 12th Annual Stand Up for Life Gala on September 25, 2020.
