Being With© Quilter
A very beautiful part of our Being With© ministry is the presentation of small lap quilts to patients whom we visit in hospitals, nursing homes, and hospices. Squares of fabric, designed by people from all over the world, are quilted together by volunteers and presented to patients in hospices and nursing facilities. These small quilts serve as a tangible reminder that the patient is loved and wanted.
If you have special skills as a quilter, and would like to volunteer to sew together quilts for Being With©, please contact us. We will mail you special instructions and guidelines, tags, and enough hand-designed squares to make as many quilts as you designate. Volunteer quilters provide all other materials, and mail finished quilts back to Healing the Culture headquarters to be distributed by our volunteers.
