HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I love that greeting, because when we say it at our Healing the Culture office, what we mean is, "Have a year filled with Level 3 and 4 happiness where you are fulfilling your highest purpose to live in the image and likeness of a God who wants to love you unconditionally into all eternity, and who wants you to know the joy of sharing that love with others. And while you're at it, enjoy some healthy Level 1 and 2 happiness, too!"

In fact, this simple wish defines our purpose at Healing the Culture. First, let me tell you how you helped us to make this wish come true for so many people in 2005. And then, I'll share with you the exciting news of a major new project for our growing mission in 2006.

All of us here consider it a unique privilege and an honor to work with you, answering God's call to "heal our culture." So much healing has happened this year!

We personally reached almost 10,000 individuals through our high school leadership program, professional training seminars, speeches, classroom lectures, retreats, and conferences. These programs allowed us to train school teachers, doctors, nurses, hospice workers, pregnancy center counselors, pastors, and religious educators how to use the Life Principles in their daily work.

Aside from that, we reached millions more by radio and television appearances and interviews. Our Board President Rev. Robert Spitzer produced his "Suffering and the God of Love" television series. This program is now in reruns on EWTN, and it prompts many people to call our office requesting materials - especially videos!

Our user-friendly and educational website (www.healingtheculture.com) receives hundreds of hits every month, with some people staying for as long as two or three hours at a time, reading and learning about the sanctity and dignity of human life. We have provided resources to people as far away as Saudi Arabia, Australia, Lithuania, Belgium, the Russian Federation, Germany, Denmark, the United Kingdom, Canada, and all over the United States.

Almost every day we receive phone calls, letters, or emails from somebody who was touched or changed by our hope-filled pro-life message. None of these lives would have been changed except for the generous commitment you have made to our mission. Your donations allow us to provide everything from pro-life books for classrooms, to Life Principles training seminars for teachers and pastors, to speakers and retreat leaders for students throughout North America.

But as I also mentioned above, we can't do any of this without you. So we are coming to you again this month to ask that you please continue to provide the funds that fuel our educational work. We rely on your financial support, and your prayers, to keep us going strong.

In this New Year, your continued support will be even more important as we expand our mission. This year, we are thrilled to be presenting our first-ever international Life Principles conference, called "Healing the Culture: A New Beginning."

The event takes place in Canada, in beautiful Vancouver BC, and is being co-hosted by Pro Life BC, LifeCanada, and Campaign Life Coalition, the largest and most influential pro-life groups in Canada. Our Canadian brothers and sisters are so excited about the mission of Healing the Culture, that they've joined forces to replace their usual annual conference with this event!

We've been preparing for this event for several months now, and it promises to be a highly educational experience with twelve well-known speakers, including Rev. Robert Spitzer, Rabbi Daniel Lapin of Toward Tradition, Carrie Abbott of the Legacy Institute, and Pavel Reid - Director of Young Adult Ministries for the U.S. Military.

We're obviously so excited about this huge event that we can hardly wait. For the first time, we will be able to bring together literally hundreds of pro-life leaders from all over the U.S. and Canada to share a common, positive, and uplifting vision through the teaching methods of the Life Principles. We are eager to unite all aspects of the pro-life movement in an unprecedented gathering to forge a new commitment toward working together with mutual respect, renewed energy, and new, invigorating ideas.

Will you help us begin this new year on the right foot by renewing your financial support of Healing the Culture? Your faith in this work, as expressed by your prayers and monetary donations, is what sustains our passion and dedication for renewing the face of our culture.

Any gift you can offer will be graciously received and wisely invested in our life-saving work. Thank you in advance for your generosity.

With best wishes for a Healthy, Holy, and Happy New Year,
donate
Camille E. De Blasi, President
