Camille Pauley
Camille Pauley is the President and co-founder of Healing the Culture. She is also the founder of Being With©, a project which trains individuals to provide compassionate visitation to people with debilitating or terminal illnesses or injuries; and the founder of the Compatior Institute, which offers Being With training to pre-med, medical, and nursing students, and health care professionals.
From 1993 to 2003, Camille was the Director of Education for Human Life of Washington (the Washington State Chapter of National Right to Life). During that time, she served as a registered pro-life lobbyist, and joined Father Robert Spitzer in co-founding the Center for Life Principles.
In 2003 Camille and Father Spitzer co-founded Healing the Culture, which uses Father Spitzer's "Life Principles" curriculum to change hearts and minds, and build a culture of life. Under Camille's leadership, Healing the Culture has quickly grown into an internationally recognized organization with a powerful pro-life message and tremendous influence in the cultural battle over abortion and euthanasia.
In her seventeen years as a professional pro-life advocate, Camille has inspired politicians, judges, lawyers, medical professionals, and church leaders to defend the sanctity of human life. She has trained pre-med students, nurses, business leaders, teachers, and pro-life professionals in the Life Principles curriculum. She has co-produced six video series, and authored dozens of articles. She has spoken to hundreds of thousands of people across North America and around the world. She has reached millions more through television, radio, and print media.
Camille received her B.A. in Communication from the University of New Mexico, and an M.A. in Communication from Washington State University. She and her husband Michael live in Kenmore, WA with their daughter, Juliette.
